Adidas said on October 25 that they would no longer work with Kanye West, who now goes by the name Ye. What will the brand be worth in 2022? When it was announced in 2015 that Adidas and Ye would be working together, fans were excited. Since then, they have both made a lot of money from working together.
In 2022, the brand said in a statement that they were cutting ties with the rapper because of the antisemitic things he said online and in interviews.
How Much Is Adidas Net Worth?
Macro Trends says that Adidas has an estimated net worth of $20.19 billion. This isn’t a surprise because the brand said it was going to have a great 2021. In a statement, the company said that its sales went up 16% and that its revenues went up 15% to €21.234 billion in 2021.
The company’s gross margin went up by 0.7 percentage points to 50.7% in the same year. With all of this in mind, the company set a goal for 2022 to do better.
How Much Did The Brand Make From Yeezys?
Jonathan Komp, a Baird analyst, told the New York Post that the brand was making around $1.8 billion a year because of the partnership. In the statement, the band also confirmed that they had predicted Adidas would “have a short-term negative effect” on the company’s net income of up to €250 million in 2022.
Ye’s net worth went from $1.5 billion to $400 million because of the deal, so he is no longer on Forbes’ list of billionaires.
Adidas Stopped Working With The Rapper
After some of the things he said online and off, Adidas finally said that they were ending their relationship with the rapper. “Adidas does not stand for antisemitism or any other kind of hate speech,” the statement said. Ye’s recent words and actions are unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they go against the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.
Adidas cuts ties with Kanye West over clear & unequivocal anti Jewish hate speech.
Cutting the partnership means Adidas will make a net loss of £217m in 2022 ..
Ye’s ‘statements’ were made days ago..
One wonders what took Adidas so long €🧐 ?

It went on to say, “After a thorough review, the company has decided to end its partnership with Ye right away, stop making products with the Yeezy brand, and stop paying Ye and his companies.” Adidas will stop doing business with Adidas Yeezy right away.”
I commend the companies standing up to Ye’s white-nationalist-inspired & antisemitic hate speech by dropping him & his companies. Claiming “slavery was a choice” should have been enough. I encourage others w/ties to Ye to also cut them now. Words matter. https://t.co/dN8ZRlagGA
