Please have someone in Tampa check on Tom Brady, he can’t be feeling great after Gisele Bündchen didn’t show up to his first home game of the season, adding fuel to the divorce rumors. The supermodel finally spoke out about her husband’s decision to come out of retirement and return to the NFL earlier this month and her reaction did not seem positive.

In an interview with Elle, Bündchen acknowledged without directly denying, that reports that she wants Brady to quit permanently are sexist. She expressed her worries, saying, “Obviously I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport and I have my children and I would like him to be more present.” I’m sure we’ve had that conversation numerous times. However, I believe that in the end, each person must make a choice that is satisfactory to them. Also, he should do what makes him happy.
I pray Brady has excellent between-the-lines-reading skills. Although we hope he is, Bündchen kept talking. I’ve been there for [Tom] and that’s all I can do. She explained that she had relocated to Boston in order to “be there supporting him and his dreams” and to “create a cocoon” for her children as they grew up. As a mother and a wife, I have found a great sense of satisfaction in that. This time it’s going to be my turn. That’s about as straightforward as it gets.
Nobody can blame Bündchen for desiring her own “turn” to concentrate on her career. She told Vogue UK earlier this year that she and Brady had moved to Tampa, Florida, so she could homeschool their two children, Benjamin, 12 and Vivian, 9.
My husband decided to play for another year and I was hesitant to enroll our children in a new school because of the difficulty of relocating to a new city. (Brady also shares parental duties with Bridget Moynahan for their son Jack, now 14 years old.) From the sounds of things, Bündchen only intends to spend a year in Florida at the most.
Last month, Brady took a sudden leave of absence from training with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which head coach Todd Bowles described as “personal,” fueling rumors of a rough patch between Bündchen and Brady. The brief absence was explained by Brady later.
That “everyone has different situations they’re dealing with” and “we all have unique challenges to our lives” were his exact words. There’s a lot of sh*t happening, so you do the best you can. Although Brady has since dispelled rumors that he skipped practice to film an appearance on The Masked Singer, fans are more likely to suspect trouble in paradise in light of Bündchen’s recent interviews.
There has been a steady rise in the rumors ever since. Page Six reported earlier this month that Bündchen and Brady were no longer sharing a home in Florida. According to a source close to the Buccaneers, her absence from his first game after coming out of retirement “seems weird.” (However, she did tweet her approval.)

To which the source added, “Everyone here knows that there’s tension but we don’t know how serious it is. So from now on, we’re not going to bring up Gisele in conversation with him. No one feels comfortable talking about it with him. According to reports, Brady has not dealt well with his un-retirement.
They mutually agreed he would retire but he reversed that decision on his own, the source said. She promised that they would discuss it further, but he returned before they could finish their discussion. According to reports, Bündchen also skipped Brady’s season opener on Sunday, despite the presence of the couple’s children. An insider told People that Gisele is “continually dedicated to her kids and is working on personal projects.
According to People, a source said, “Brady knows that this is his last season if he wants to stay married.” But Tom and Gisele shippers need not worry their marriage is still going strong. Therefore, if he is serious about making it work, he will likely retire after the 2022 season.
Tom Brady said on an episode of his Sirius XM show Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray that he plans to “take it day by day” and “evaluate everything as it comes” in regards to his possible return to football.
He continued, “One of these days, they’re going to be right,” in reference to the many people who have speculated on the exact date of his permanent retirement. That’s the kind of dedication Bündchen wants to hear, for sure.
