When Zootopia came out in March 2016, it was a huge hit for Disney. In case you forgot, Zootopia is about Judy Hopps, a new, optimistic police officer voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin. She has to work with the con artist/red fox Nick Wilde, voiced by Jason Bateman, to find out what’s going on when predators keep disappearing.
Zootopia made more than $1 billion at the box office all over the world. It also got great reviews and won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. So it was almost certain that Disney would make a sequel to the movie, which takes place in the city of the same name where animals that look like people live together.
Even though there hasn’t been any news about a Zootopia sequel movie yet, Zootopia fans will soon be able to dive back into the world of Zootopia on Zootopia+. Here is all the information you need about Zootopia+.
Zootopia+ Release Date
Zootopia+ will only be available on Disney Plus when it starts on November 9. Zootropolis+ is the name of the limited series for people in the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.
The original movie was also called Zootropolis in those places. At the time, a Disney spokesperson said, “In the UK, we changed the US title Zootopia to Zootropolis to give the movie a unique name that works for UK audiences.” Read More Love Is Blind Netflix Season 3
Trailer for Zootopia+
Even though Zootopia+ comes out in just a few short weeks, we still haven’t seen a trailer for it. Those who went to D23 in September did, however, get a look at the show’s footage and hear about some of its plot points. Getting back to that…
Zootopia+ plot
Zootopia+ is a deeper look at the lives of some of the movie’s most interesting and charismatic characters. It takes place during the events of the movie.
“The Real Rodents of Rodentia” is one of the six episodes of the anthology show. This is about Mr. Big’s daughter, Fru Fru, who just got married. She seems to be a lot nicer than her father. It sounds like her episode makes fun of the Real Housewives shows.
“Hopp on Board” is a parody of action movies with Judy’s parents as the stars. “The Godfather of the Bride” is a tribute to gangster movies with Mr. Big as the star. “Duke the Musical” is, as you might expect, a musical with Duke Weaselton as the star. “So You Think You Can Prance” is about the talented tiger dancers who back up Gazelle.
Plus, the character who might be Zootopia’s most famous will get his own episode. Flash, the sloth who works at the DMV and was the star of the first trailer for the movie, go to dinner with his co-worker Priscilla in “Dinner Rush.” Either that will be funny or it will quickly get old.
Zootopia+ Cast
From what we’ve learned so far, we know that Leah Latham will voice Fru Fru again, as well Maurice LaMarche as Mr. Big, Alan Tudyk as Duke Weaselton, Raymond S. Persi as Flash, Kristen Bell as Priscilla, Don Lake and Bonnie Hunt as Judy’s parents, and Raymond S. Persi as Flash. People also hope that Shakira will do the voice of Gazelle again. It would also be cool if Goodwin and Bateman came back as Zootopia’s main characters, but that’s not known yet.
How To Watch Zootopia+
Disney Plus will be the only place to watch all six Zootopia+ episodes. To watch it, you’ll need to sign up for the streaming service, which costs either $7.99 a month or $79.99 for the whole year. If you live in the US and are interested in Hulu, ESPN Plus, and Disney Plus, you can buy the Disney Bundle for $14 a month. This package includes Hulu, ESPN Plus, and Disney Plus. If you sign up for any of the Hulu with Live TV plans, you will also get Disney Plus for free.
