Tombstone Movie Cast Comes Together After 30 Years

There was a reunion of the cast of the classic Western film Tombstone, which pleased fans of the film. Several events featuring the film’s cast took place in the town of Tombstone from the 23rd to the 25th of June.

“The movie Tombstone is iconic, it was iconic for our city and it’s iconic for all westerns ever made,” said event organizer Gordon Anderson. “Some people would argue it was the greatest western ever made, I certainly would.”

Tombstone was shot on location in 1993. The plot provided a glimpse into the life of a respected lawman who was looking forward to retiring until his plans were derailed by the very criminals he made his name by putting down.

“It’s historic, thirty years later we had ten cast members visiting Tombstone,” Anderson said. “This event will never happen again, nothing like it.”

In the film, John Philbin played the role of Tom McLaury, and he was present for the premiere. He looked forward to seeing his old fans again after so long.

“I’m just so grateful that there was a fanbase that followed this movie and turned it into a cult classic western. You know, it was a lot of people’s favorite western,” Philbin said. “I consider myself very fortunate to have been in a movie that people loved.”

The Friday and Saturday Night Symposiums, if you were planning on coming all the way down to Tombstone, were completely sold out. However, on the 24th (10 am – 4 pm) and 25th (10 am – 2 pm), you could still see the celebs.
