Perry Mason Season 2 Exclusive: It is Dangerous as Heck!

Perry Mason Season 2: As HBO has finally decided on a release date for its historical mystery drama, fan favorite Perry Mason will solve another case in the coming year. Della and Paul prod Perry to solve another mystery in a new season teaser as the former counsels him that “Guilty or not, everyone deserves a defense.” A murder case set against the socio-political backdrop of America in the 1930s is effectively depicted in the gripping new clip.

The new season will begin in 1933, several months after the conclusion of the Dodson case, as the scion of a wealthy oil family is brutally killed. Our favorite team will be in the middle of a case revealing greater conspiracies than they could have ever imagined. There is simply an illusion of justice, which is how the new clip sums up the season’s central theme. The false belief that reality always wins. Detective Mason must now distinguish between reality and illusion.

The historical drama, which is based on characters developed by Erle Stanley Gardner, is set in the early 1930s when the Great Depression struck devastation in the US. Mason must negotiate the Los Angeles judicial system while dealing with personal pain and getting over his time in the Great War.

The original showrunners Ron Fitzgerald and Rolin Jones will no longer be involved with the second season as Michael Begler and Jack Amiel will take their place. Tatiana Maslany, an actor, will also no longer be involved due to her commitment to the She-Hulk series.
