On Wednesday night in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, a man was found with a knife stuck out of his chest.
A 911 call came in around 10:45 p.m. When police arrived, they found a 38-year-old man lying at the corner of 5th Avenue and 60th Street.
The person who was hurt had a knife stuck in his chest. He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead.

An ambulance is on the scene at the corner of 5th Avenue and 60th Street. The man had not been named as of Thursday morning because his family had not been told.

“At this time, it is not clear if the man who was helped was a victim of a crime or if he hurt himself,” the NYPD said.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will find the cause of death.
The investigation into the death is still going on. So far, no arrests have been made.
