Nintendo has announced the release date, new Pokémon, the pricing, and even plot elements for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Indigo Disk downloadable content. The new add-on follows the September 13 release of Teal Mask DLC as the second downloadable content update to the Generation 9 games for Nintendo Switch. With an Indigo Disk, you can visit Blueberry Academy, a sibling institution to both Scarlet’s Naranja Academy and Violet’s Uva Academy. In addition to the brand new Pokémon of Generation 9, this new adventure will also feature a number of returning animals from earlier generations.
Among these are not one but two Legendary Paradox creatures, as well as other new evolutions of previously known Pokémon. In addition to the new Pokémon to capture and regions to explore, the Indigo Disk downloadable content for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will also introduce a completely new story centred on the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. In addition to the main territory, Gen 9 will feature the explorable world of Paldea.

New Indigo Disc Release Date I went to buy the DLC tonight and it claimed it wouldn’t be available until April 30 of next year. Since there is no official date, we have no way of knowing if they actually altered it or if this is simply a huge guess. You can check out Twitter.

Scarlet & Violet: Indigo Disk – New Pokémon
Terapagos is the main new Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Indigo Disk downloadable content. The Legendary Pokémon connected to The Indigo Disk was the first of the expansion’s new creatures to be unveiled. Terapagos is still largely unknown. The monster will exist in two separate appearances.
A little turtle-like Pokémon with crystals dangling from its body is its Normal Forme. In its second, more powerful form, Terapagos dons a complete shell, with each of its pentagons bearing a distinct symbol for one of the eighteen Pokémon Types. Even in its second iteration, the tail is long and graceful.
Exploring the Indigo Disk DLC in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet may reveal the origin of the unusual crystal-like forms, as it is hinted in the game’s different logs that a creature akin to Terapagos is tied to Paldea’s Terastal phenomena. Naturally, Terapagos is among the numerous new Gen 9 titles for Nintendo Switch.
The new Pokémon that will be revealed with The Indigo Disk were shown off in a special Pokémon Presents livestream on the official Pokémon channel on YouTube on August 8. All of these new Pokémon have connections to Pokémon from prior generations.
During the Pokémon Presents event, it was revealed that Archaludon would be available in the Indigo Disk downloadable content for Scarlet and Violet. The Duraludon of Generation 8 has evolved into this new form. Later, The Pokémon Company revealed that the new Pokémon revealed in the teaser, Archaludon is a Steel/Dragon type and the only known Pokémon capable of learning the Electric-type move Electro Shot. Archaludon, on the other hand, seems more like a bridge than a skyscraper, especially when it flattens itself out on all fours.

The combined DLC pack for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet can be purchased via the Nintendo eShop for $34.99.
The main game plus the DLC pack, which contains both The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, are also available together in a single package from the Nintendo eShop. There is a $94.99 price tag for this particular model of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
