Blanca Arellano decided to travel 3,000 miles from her home in Mexico to Peru to meet a man she met online. She stopped talking to anyone from her family after November 7, 2022.
Who Was Blanca Arellano?
Blanca Arellano was a 51-year-old woman from Mexico who liked to play games online. Juan Pablo Jesus Villafuerte, a 37-year-old medical student, met her at one of the games.

She took a plane to Peru in July and talked to her family until November 7, 2022. Karla, Arellano’s niece, says that Arellano’s family thought things were going well in Peru.
Details about how each member of the Harrison family was killed one by one are haunting. When Karla called Villafuerte to find out why her aunt wasn’t answering, he allegedly told her that she had gotten tired of them and gone back to Mexico alone.
Two days later, fishermen found her head had been cut off.
A few hours later, her organ-less body was found. Soon after, a finger with a ring washed up on the beach.

What Happened To Blanca Arellano?
Villafuerte was arrested on November 17, 2022, in connection with the death of Blanca Arellano. Zoraida valos, the General Attorney of Peru, said, “Juan Pablo Villafuerte was arrested on charges of trafficking in human organs.”
Villafuerte, who was 37 years old and a medical student, is thought to have killed Arellano with the help of someone else.
Villafuerte is said to have posted videos on TikTok of him cutting up human organs, including a human brain, between the time Blanca Arellano went missing and his arrest.
How did officials tie Villafuerte to the crime?
First, the police had to figure out who the woman was based on her body. They could do this with the help of Blanca Arellano’s family, who knew that the ring on the dead girl’s finger was hers.
They also told the police that Villafuerte was the last to see her alive.
El Pais says that the police found blood in his bathroom, laundry room, mattress, and cleaning supplies.
