When naked photos and videos of Ex- WWE women’s champion Paige were posted online in 2017, she was at “rock bottom” and wasn’t sure if she wanted to live anymore.
Renee Paquette’s podcast, “The Sessions,” is on The Volume. Paige, who now goes by her real name, Saraya, joined Paquette and talked about the scary time in her life.
Saraya said, “I was in San Antonio, and it was the worst time of my life.”
“At the time, the person I was with showed me a photo on Twitter. I just thought, “Oh my God.” I asked, “Is that real?” because at first, I didn’t think it was real. I was f—ing 19 years old, and I was f—ing embarrassed to death. I quickly left the house. I ran. I just kept f—ing running.”

She said that she hid in a bush because she was afraid other people would recognize her. She also said that this happened at a time when she was using drugs like cocaine and alcohol.
Saraya said, “I was hiding in an f—ing bush because I thought that if people saw me, they would know.” “I would never wish that on anyone because that’s the part of you that’s the most vulnerable. At the time, I felt so stupid for trusting this person. I’ve never done it since. I’ve learned my lesson, and I’ll never do that again if I can help it.
“I felt so f—ing stupid and embarrassed, and I was already like a f—ing cokehead and loved to drink, so that really f—ing brought me to rock bottom, dude. It was horrible. I was just so damn sad. I remember thinking, “If my dad is upset with me, I don’t think I can stay here any longer.”
She called her father from inside the bush and said, “I’m so sorry.” His answer brought her back down from the proverbial ledge.

Saraya said that this made her feel different “right away.” She called her brother, and he felt the same way. She finally decided, “Well, if my family is OK with me, then I’m going to be OK.”
