About The Author:

Juno Dawson is a best-selling author, screenwriter, journalist, and Attitude Magazine columnist. Her work has been published in Glamour, The Pool, Dazed, and the Guardian, among other places. She has been on Pointless Celebrities, BBC Women’s Hour, Front Row, ITV News, Channel 5 News, This Morning, and Newsnight.

The books THIS BOOK IS GAY and CLEAN by Juno are best-sellers worldwide. With MEAT MARKET, she won the 2020 YA Book Prize. She also writes for TV, and several shows are in the works for both the UK and the US. Juno is an occasional actress and model. She had a cameo in the BBC’s I MAY DESTROY YOU (2020) and was the face of Jecca Cosmetics’ Play Pots campaign.

Juno grew up in West Yorkshire, where she made up Doctor Who stories. Later, she used her skills to become a journalist. She talked to famous people like Steps and Atomic Kitten and then wrote a weekly serial for a Brighton newspaper.
