The Embassy of Brazil in Ukraine issued in the middle of this Saturday afternoon (19) a notice in which he recommends Brazilians to avoid visiting the Ukrainian provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk.

According to the diplomatic representation, “citizens who are already in these regions are advised to consider leaving them without delay”. Earlier, Russia’s Allied separatist leaders from Donetsk and Lugansk, territories disputed by Russians and Ukrainians, urged citizens to fully mobilize in the face of tension between the countries.

The notice also alerts Brazilians in the region that there may be new cancellations or postponement of international flights in the next week. “Lufthansa airline announced this afternoon that it will temporarily suspend its flights from Kiev and Odessa from Monday (17), and at least until the end of the month,” the statement reads.
