Disney Is Remastering Sega Genesis Classic ‘Gargoyles’

This week, Disney fans got a pleasant surprise, especially those who enjoyed the company’s films and TV shows from the ’90s. The biggest surprise at the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase was the news of a Gargoyles remaster During its recent gaming expo, the business said it was remastering Gargoyles. The Sega Genesis version was released in 1995 and is considered a classic among Disney video games alongside Aladdin and The Lion King.

The video game is inspired by an animated series of the same name.

The original airing of Gargoyles spanned the years 1994–1997. The fascinating tale of an all-star voice cast, which included Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis of Star Trek: The Next Generation, have helped it become a cult classic despite its initial moderate popularity.
