Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead are responsible for the production of the American police procedural action drama television series Chicago P.D., which is a part of the Chicago franchise produced by Wolf Entertainment.
On January 8, 2014, the series made its debut on NBC as a substitute for the network’s midseason lineup. The show follows the uniformed patrol officers and the Intelligence Unit of the 21st District of the Chicago Police Department as they chase the offenders of the city’s largest street violations. The show also follows the police as they investigate serious crimes.

NBC announced on February 27, 2020, that the show would continue for a further eighth, ninth, and 10 seasons. On November 11, 2020, the debut of the eighth season took place. The opening episode of the ninth season aired on September 22nd, 2021. The first episode of the tenth season is scheduled to air on September 21, 2022.
Benjamin Levy Aguilar has been elevated to the role of series regular on NBC’s Chicago P.D., which is now airing its tenth season. He will play the part of Dante Torres, a rookie in the Intelligence division who has just been transferred from the patrol division.
It was in the ninth season episode of the show named “New Guard” that he made his first appearance as the character, but he had previously featured in the series as Franco Chavaro in the two seasons before that.

Aguilar, who was born in Guatemala, first gained widespread recognition for his breakthrough performance as Antonio Rivera in the Fox television series Filthy Rich. His most recent appearance was as Rex Bakke in an episode of The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl With the Window on Netflix, in which he co-starred in with Kristen Bell.
