Call Of Duty Season 3: Warzone And Vanguard Start Date, Time And Details

Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard are about to start Season 3, and now we know Godzilla and King Kong will be a part of it. Yes, the game will have two legendary monsters. We think it will take more than one or two guns to get rid of them. In fact, maybe one of them will have to beat the other before they can put aside their disagreements and work together to beat a common enemy.

Activision has been giving hints about what to look forward to. Of course, what we really want to know is when we can play it, and we now know the answer to that question. When does it start? Here’s what we know so far about the changes that will be made to Warzone and Vanguard for Season 3.

Call of Duty Season 3 Start Times

The third season is due out on April 27. Seasonal updates for Call of Duty usually come out between 9 a.m. PT and 12 p.m. ET.

What To Expect From Season 3

The new season is called “Classified Arms,” It looks like it will be about some scary monsters. Nebula bombs have been set off all over the world, and it looks like some of this may have led to the invasion of giant monsters.

In both games, there will be new operators, 100 content tiers, and two weapons that everyone can use for free.

Warzone

With Season 2 Reloaded, Warzone’s Rebirth Island map got a lot of changes to how it looks, and new things like Weapon Trade Stations and Communication Towers have been added all over the prison island. Since all this work is being done on Warzone’s smaller map, it’s possible that Season 3 will focus on the main Caldera map again.

There have also been hints and leaks about Godzilla and King Kong. Later, a trailer showing monsters and a May 11 start date confirmed that these were part of Operation Monarch. This fit with a previous leak that said both monsters would be included and it would start on that date.

Raven Software has already hinted that more changes are coming to the battle royale. The company said the recent changes to perks are just a taste of what’s to come in Season 3.

Vanguard

Vanguard will get a few new maps, but not all of them on the day it comes out. Season 3 comes out at the same time as the Mayhem map, and the Shere map will come out later. The Trophy System will also be added to the game as a field upgrade; it was available in previous games and worked against explosive devices.

Call of Duty Season 3

Mayhem is called “one of the tightest play spaces in Call of Duty history” because your battlefield is a small model of a city. This 1950s movie set has a UFO, a volcano, and a monster. There are several ways to get inside, giving you options for how to deal with the people inside.

For competitive players, Season 3 of Ranked Play should have new rewards. The Call of Duty League blog has said that each season of Ranked Play will have its own set of unique rewards, such as weapon blueprints, camouflages, charms, and more. The Skill Rating system for Ranked Play was just updated in a big way, and more changes will likely be made to the mode in Season 3.

And finally, Zombies season 3 brought some pretty big changes. The mode got an Easter egg important to the main plot, two Wonder Weapons, and a few other Easter eggs. We hope that Season 3 will keep the momentum going with more updates and a new story quest. Fans recently gave Vanguard’s Zombies mode a lot of grief for adding a pause button with many restrictions, but it’s unclear if the pause restrictions will be changed. There won’t be a new map, but there will be a standard map after Season 3.

In other Call of Duty news, Snoop Dogg can now be played as an operator in both Warzone and Vanguard.
