Since its release last month, the video game Baldur’s Gate 3 has swept the gaming industry. Players were pleased by the popular RPG from creator Larian Studios’ sophisticated systems and gripping story, but that doesn’t mean things have always gone smoothly. Today, we learned that a third significant patch will be released later this month along with BG3 receiving complete Mac support.
Contrary to some of the other patch previews, this particular update gave supporters no real indication of what specifically to anticipate. Instead, Larian just uploaded a snapshot of all the 5-star reviews the game had earned. Of course, that is really amazing, but it doesn’t offer many suggestions as to what will be offered besides Mac support. However, we could have had a hint from the development team a few days ago when designer Swen Vincke said that the code team “is getting closer and closer to achieving the performance they originally aimed for.”

Is Baldur’s Gate 3 Coming To Xbox?
True, Baldur’s Gate 3 will be available on Xbox. Swen Vincke, a Larian developer, has stated that they had been working on the Xbox release for “quite some time.” However, it won’t happen immediately. Only the PC version of the game is currently available, with PS5 and Mac versions coming soon. The Xbox version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will undoubtedly be released “this year,” in 2023.
The game’s developers had stated that an Xbox version is being created. There were certain technical issues that contributed to the current delay. The Xbox release is still scheduled for this year, though. The fact that Baldur’s Gate 3 will support cross-platform progression is an important point to make here.
