Bebe Rexha Weight Gain
As she considered skipping the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, Bebe Rexha was open with her TikTok followers about her fear. The “I’m Good” singer admitted in a video released that she is “anxious AF” about going to the annual concert months after talking about her weight gain. “Right now I’m not feeling so confident,” she admitted.
“I am so anxious and stressed about going on the red carpet,” Rexha continued. She also said she is feeling nervous about people discussing her weight again.
Earlier this year, Rexha slammed TikTok, saying the suggested search phrase “bebe rexha weight” was “upsetting.” “I’m not mad cause it’s true. I did gain weight. But it just sucks,” she wrote.
In June, she responded to more weight-related searches on TikTok by tweeting, “Yes I’m in my fat era.”

There is no need for a hand to grasp Bebe Rexha. During her Bebe Rexha: Best F’n Night Of My Life performance in London on July 28, the 33-year-old said she and her three-year partner Keyan Safyari had split up.
Bebe said to the audience during the introduction of her song “Atmosphere,” “Now I just went through a break-up so I might get a little emotional, so you need to help me here.”

Only two weeks before to this split rumour, Bebe released texts on social media that she claimed were from Keyan and discussed the Grammy nominee’s weight increase. The cinematographer appears to be defending himself in the texts against remarks made in a previous chat.
“I never said you weren’t beautiful and I never said I didn’t love you,” read the message posted to her Instagram Story July 16, per Entertainment Tonight. “In fact I said how beautiful you are and how much I loved you. But I always said I would be honest with you and your face was changing so I told you it was…That was the conversation we were having and you asked.”
He continued, “Because I care, would you rather I lied to you? You gained 35 pounds obviously you gained weight and your face changes? Should I just pretend it didn’t happen and that it’s ok? Come on I gain 3 pounds and you called me chubbs and fat. Doesn’t mean you don’t love me.”
In his letter, Keyan also expressed his suspicion that Bebe was searching for an excuse to end their relationship, advising her to “speak to a therapist” in order to identify the “root of the problem.” “Let me know if you’d like to speak if you need more clarity. Love you.”
Fans conjectured that she and Keyan, whom she had begun seeing in 2020, had broken up as a result of the social media post. And this isn’t the first time Bebe has had to respond to recent internet discussion of her figure. On June 23, she tweeted, “I know I got fat.” “I’m just so sick of people talking about it. NEXT!!!!!!”

In a separate tweet she continued, “Human beings go through weight fluctuations it’s life and you don’t know what people are going through. Meds, disease, etc…”
But amid all the talk over how she looks, Bebe was sure to thank fans who had been showing her support. “Also, I want to shout out all the people who have been supporting me and showing me love,” she added. “Thank you.”
