BRANDONVILLE – After a search warrant this morning in the village, a 42-year-old man from here is facing felony drug charges.
Around 6 a.m., members of the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force and the State Police raided a home at 345 Brandonville Road.
Inside, they found $300 worth of fentanyl, 35 grammes of cocaine, and $900 in cash. The fentanyl was worth $36,000 on the street, and the cocaine was worth $4,000.
Michael Edward Kohlhepp, 42, of Brandonville, was brought before Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker in Shenandoah and sent to Schuylkill County Prison on a $100,000 straight cash bail.
Kohlhepp is being charged with felony possession with the intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was also arrested because he had three open arrest warrants, two in the county of Schuylkill and one in the county of Luzerne.
