Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are role-playing video games (RPGs) coming out in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch. They were made by Game Freak and will be sold by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. They were announced in February 2022 and will come out on November 18, 2022. They are the first games in the ninth generation of Pokémon games.

Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Gameplay

The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games are called “open-world experiences.” This means that, unlike in other Pokémon games, players will be able to move freely between the wilderness and towns. In Polygon’s Oct. 21 preview, Scarlet and Violet seemed like a huge open world with lots of quests. The gameplay is expected to have elements of traditional Pokémon games, with maybe more influence from Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Wild Area and Pokémon Legends: Arceus’s partially open-world experience.

The Pokémon Company says that you can explore the world at your own pace and not in the order that the story tells you to. Trainers still have to go on a journey, but it sounds like it will be more varied than in the past: On the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet website, The Pokémon Company says, “Meet different people and Pokémon and go on adventures in the Pokémon world your way.”

The Pokémon Company said in August that once a player joins one of the two academies, they will be able to “weave” a story however they want. The three “grand stories” in Scarlet and Violet can be accessed by doing an independent study called “The Treasure Hunt,” which is required by the schools. Team Star, the game’s bad guys, will try to stop you on Starfall Street. They are the troublemakers at school.

Trainers can take a Pokémon with them when they go exploring in the Paldea area. There is also a “Let’s Go!” feature that lets trainers send out Pokémon to collect things and automatically start battles with nearby Pokémon.
