But, as usual, we want to know what will happen next. So, when could Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 4 be released? Who would play the main character in a movie about Marvel characters? What will happen to the best MCU heroes next?
When Will Guardians of the Galaxy 4 Come Out?
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4 doesn’t have a definite release date as of July 2023, and the Guardians probably won’t get their own movie until at least 2026. Even though a fourth movie in the series hasn’t been officially announced yet, the ending of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 makes it clear that there could be more.
Putting together Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4 would be hard. Since Gunn has moved on to the DCU, Marvel will have to find a new writer and director for the superhero movie before they can start making it. After Avengers: Secret Wars comes out and Kevin Feige’s current plans for Marvel’s Phase 5 are finished, a possible Guardians movie wouldn’t come out in theaters until at least late 2026.
Guardians of the Galaxy 4 Expected Cast
The cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4 is anticipated to include Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Will Poulter, Sean Gunn, and Maria Bakalova. Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Adam Warlock, Kraglin, and Cosmo the Spacedog are all that are left of the original Guardians of the Galaxy crew after they split off following their victory over High Evolutionary.
Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, and Pom Klementieff, the original cast of Guardians of the Galaxy, may return, but it’s not certain because their characters went off on separate adventures at the end of the third film.

There has not yet been a teaser trailer published for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4. The production phase of the project has not even started yet, and there are currently no plans to do so either.
