A brand new episode of America’s Got Talent (AGT) spin-off show AGT: All-Stars was broadcast on NBC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Monday, January 30, 2023.
In this episode, ten women who had competed in different Got Talent competitions around the world and other ways put their best foot forward and showed off their talents in hopes of making it to the show’s championship round and winning the title and the million-dollar grand prize.
During this week’s episode of America’s Got Talent: All-Stars, finalist Tom Ball from Britain’s Got Talent 2022 blew everyone away with his performance. He was given the name “Golden Buzzer.” Tom also received a standing ovation for his performance.
However, there were various responses from fans to the judges’ judgment. Although some thought it was just, others said that other competitors were more deserving of this credit. The audience has given the hit television series an overwhelmingly positive response.
During the first five weeks of the competition, fans have seen candidates show off a fantastic variety of skills. In the past, contestants like these have impressed the likes of Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum, as well as the live audience and viewers at home, by showcasing their talents in areas like singing, dancing, ventriloquism, and magic, amongst other things.

Tom Ball Gets the Group Golden Buzzer on Agt: All-stars
In the opening segment of tonight’s episode of America’s Got Talent: All-Stars, host Terry Crews introduced the audience, the judges, and the next group of 10 alumni contestants from all around the world.
This week, the Superfan Golden Buzzer Act will be decided by a group vote, and another act will be selected by the voices of superfans from throughout the United States.
The host and the judges concluded that it would be best if they all agreed on their favorite act. Tom Ball is a singer who competed in Britain’s Got Talent season 15 in 2022. He went back to the franchise to audition for AGT: All-Stars, hoping to make an impression on American viewers.

After his first performance, the crowd gave him a standing ovation, so he moved on to the Top 3 of the competition. However, he came up just short of the comic Axel Blake, who was also there and had already given a fantastic performance before him.
On the other hand, Tom vowed that he would recover even more successfully this time. The singer used to be a teacher, but he quit his job to follow his lifelong dream of becoming a singer so that he might serve as an example for his pupils.
After appearing on Britain’s Got Talent, the candidate became one of the most well-liked instructors at his school. Before his audition on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars, Tom told Terry that he would get married in five days.
This conversation took place before Tom’s audition. He saw the performance as another chance to motivate the people close to him.
After getting cheers from both the judges and the audience, he talked with them in a lively way before he went on stage. Tom gave an undertaking to the song “The Sound of Silence“ by Simon & Garfunkel, and his powerful vocal range and voice surprised everyone in the room.
In the end, the judges and the people in the room gave him a round of applause. Simon hoped this was the first time he would’ve heard the contestant and called it the “best performance of the entire series.” Both Howie and Heidi praised his performance, with Heidi describing it as “bigger than life.”
Simon went on to say that if Tom had performed this performance while competing on Britain’s Got Talent, he would have been crowned the champion of the competition back when he was there. The audience started clapping and cheering for a “golden buzzer” after that.
When the AGT: All-Stars judges and host Terry Crews agreed that Tom should get the Golden Buzzer and move on to the next round, he went straight to the championship game.
