Flo Rida’s 6-Year-Old Son is Critically Injured After Falling From the Fifth Story

Flo Rida’s six-year-old son is in critical condition after tumbling out of the fifth-floor apartment window in New Jersey.

On March 4, the rapper’s kid, Zohar Dillard, whom he shares with Alexis Adams, was brought to the hospital in severe condition.

Dillard is apparently recovering in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit after suffering multiple pelvic fractures, left metatarsal fractures, a grade three liver laceration, internal hemorrhage, and collapsed lungs.

On 27 March, Adams filed a lawsuit to the Superior Court of New Jersey, suing her apartment’s management company for negligence.

According to multiple investigations, the building had “windows that constituted a hazardous condition,” and they were fitted with “incorrectly sized guards,” “thereby breaching their duty of care.”

Adam’s lawyer, Steven P Haddad, has asked for a jury trial, claiming that the management are accountable for maintaining the building “in a negligent, inconsiderate, and reckless manner, generating foreseeable and dangerous conditions.”

Goldberg Management, the defendant, did not respond to The Independent’s request for comment.

Dillard and Adams, the plaintiffs, are seeking an unknown sum of money to cover Dillard’s present and future medical expenditures, legal fees, and any existing and future emotional and physical agony.

In a statement shared with local outlet News 12 New Jersey, Adams said: “As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces.

“I am distraught, outraged, and fighting to come to terms with the fact that my only kid has sustained catastrophic injuries due to our landlord’s and others’ deliberate carelessness in neglecting to take required safety precautions.”

Flo Rida has yet to make a public statement regarding the accident, but The Independent has contacted his representative for comment.
