After a Serious Crash In Wrentham, Two Individuals Are In Critical Condition

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Wrentham Friday night that sent three people to the hospital.

Just before 8 p.m., Wrentham Police and Fire Departments responded to the intersection of East Street and Common Street. Officers arrived to find two heavily damaged vehicles in the middle of the road.

According to preliminary findings, a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck crossed into oncoming traffic on Rt. 140 southbound, striking a Hyundai Elantra head-on.

The operator of the Toyota pickup truck was not seriously injured but the passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center, police said.

The only occupant and driver of the Hyundai Elantra also suffered grave injuries, but they didn’t seem life-threatening. He was taken to the Trauma Center at Rhode Island Hospital.
