Allison Williams And Ricky Van Veen Divorced After 4 Years of Marriage

Allison Williams and her husband Ricky Van Veen have divorced after nearly four years of marriage, according to Page Six.

In a joint statement, the couple told us exclusively: “With mutual love and respect, we have decided to separate as a couple. We are grateful for our friendship and will continue to have it.”

According to a close friend, the two are “distinctly different,” and haven’t been seen together in months.

A source familiar with the splitting couple told us: “Every time I’ve seen Allison recently, Ricky’s been nowhere to be seen.” They were last spotted publicly at the Oscars in March 2018.

The couple married in a glorious ceremony at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, in September 2015, presided by Tom Hanks. Williams’ father, MSNBC personality Brian Williams, escorted her down the aisle in front of celebrities such as “Girls” creator and star Lena Dunham, Katy Perry, John Mayer, Jemima Kirke, Barry Diller, Seth Meyers, and Zosia Mamet.

Williams, 31, gained prominence in the HBO smash as uptight New Yorker Marnie Michaels, while Van Veen, 38, is Facebook’s Head of Global Creative Strategy. He amassed a fortune by co-founding the humor brand CollegeHumor and the video platform Vimeo.

According to a source, “Allison is a true go-getter.” Ricky, on the other hand, is a lot more calm and laid-back. Things haven’t been going well lately.”

The couple, who met at a “Bachelor” viewing party in 2011, shared a $2 million Chelsea apartment. They are, however, said to be living apart.

Williams, who appeared in Jordan Peele’s smash hit “Get Out,” recently created a stir with her Netflix horror film “The Perfection,” which many claimed was so brutal that it made them physically nauseous. She’s been filming “Horizon Line,” a survival thriller about a couple stranded on an island after a plane disaster.
