MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One woman was shot and killed in South Memphis, Memphis Police say.
At 8:45, officers responded to the 1400 Blk of College Street regarding a shooting. Officers located a female victim on the scene with an apparent gunshot wound where; she was pronounced deceased. At about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, 8 March 2023, someone opened fire on College Street near Kerr Avenue. Memphis police say that a woman who had been shot was found. On the spot, it was said that she was dead.
When a body is found in the airport area, the MPD looks for the killer.
The police say that two people have been held at the scene. Memphis police say that they are still looking into this.
