The first thing to note is that there is still a ton of source material from the original manga for the Iruma-kun anime adaptation to adapt, which is frequently the primary determinant of a series’ renewal.

The Post-Harvest Festival Arc was wrapped up in volume 17 chapter 146 of the original manga, which was about the time period covered by season 3 episode 21. The Soi Purson Arc is the title of the following story arc, and the series’ Fandom page has the following preview:

“With the Music Festival coming up as another opportunity to increase the Abnormal Class’ ranking, they carefully decide who to stand out for the show! However, little did they know there was a 13th student in the class that also needed to stand out. But, due to his nature, he could not! Will they succeed in getting their classmate to participate… or dissipate?”

The good news is that the Welcome to Demon School anime could have up to six seasons because, as of March 2023, 31 complete Tankobon volumes have been published in Japan. Then there was the post-credit scene from Season 3 Episode 21, which while not explicitly stating that Season 4 was on the way, did give a hint that the adventure will continue:

“After the Harvest Festival, Iruma and Lead were successfully promoted to Dalet. But, unless the rest of their classmates all reach rank Dalet, they’ll all be kicked out of the Royal One. Iruma and the others are about to take on the final rank-advancement exam for first-years… The Music Festival!”

The popularity of the show should be sufficient among domestic and foreign audiences to justify Bandai Namco Pictures and NHK renewing it. A good 7.88/10 on MyAnimeList, 78% on Anilist, and 4.1/5 on Anime-Planet are being given to Season 3, which has received an overall series rating of 7.7/10 on IMDB.

The first season of Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun was introduced in October of the same year it was announced in February (eight months). After that, Season 2 would be announced in August 2020, returning in April 2021. (eight months).

Ultimately, season 3’s release date was set for October 2022 after it was made public in September 2021. (13 months). Fans can anticipate the fourth season of Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun to debut in April 2024 on the Spring schedule, if the anime maintains its current production cycle and pace of chapter adaptations.
