The ‘Valerie’s Cooking Show’ host announced in a video uploaded on Twitter on November 22, that she and Tom have officially finalized their divorce. The couple filed for divorce in 2021 and has finally reached a settlement as of November 2022.

Bertinelli is seen saying in a video she posted on Twitter announcing her divorce that she received a call from her lawyer alerting her that the papers had been signed. “On 11/22/22, I am officially f—- divorced,” she adds. Divorced with joy. Finally, God. It’s finally finished.” She concluded the video with an enthusiastic “Yeah!”
Valerie Bertinelli filed for a formal separation before filing for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to Today. She did, however, file for divorce in May 2021. She alleged in court documents that they had been apart since 2019.

What All Agreements Did The Divorce Settlement Include?
According to US Weekly, Valerie Bertinelli, a food network celebrity, was ordered by a judge to pay a $2.2 million settlement to her ex-husband Tom Vitale. According to the agreement, Vitale must leave Bertinelli’s California home by December 31 to receive the cash.
If Bertinelli does not pay the sum before the end of the year, Vitale has the right to continue living in the mansion without paying rent. The contract also specifies that if Vitale wishes to live in their Los Angeles home, he must pay $50,000 in rent to the ‘Sydney’ alum.
