In addition to their three Grammys, Florida Georgia Line has also won four CMT Music Awards, two NMAs, an AMA, an American Music Award and a Billboard Music Award.
Why did Florida Georgia Line Break Up?
FGL’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley recently interviewed People magazine at opening a new FGL exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. During the interview, they revealed that after their string of summer festival dates, they would take a break from performing together as a duo. Both musicians will probably concentrate on their musical ventures in the future. According to what Tyler shared with the publication, “I think ‘taking a break is a better euphemism than ‘breaking up.'”

Back In The Year 2020, There Were Rumors That The Band Florida Georgia Line Had Broken Up
This is not the first time rumors have circulated that Florida Georgia Line is disbanding. There have been previous rumors. Back in 2020, there were speculations that Tyler and Brian were about to part up since they stopped following one other on social media because they had different political views. Despite this, it never came to pass and the duo continued giving performances and releasing music.
According to their official website, the current tour that FGL is on will continue for another seven dates and go through the summer of 2022. In May 2021, they made the initial announcement of a full-scale tour but they were forced to call it off in August of the same year because more people were receiving COVID-19. The duo has decided to focus solely on performing at festivals for the remainder of their trip.
These final tour locations are spread throughout a wide area, including the United States and Canada. Country Thunder Arizona is scheduled to take place in Florence, Arizona, on April 10, 2022. The Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam is expected to occur in Panama City Beach, Florida, on June 4, 2022. The Barefoot Country Music Fest is scheduled to take place in Wildwood, New Jersey, on June 16, 2022. The event known as Country Fest 2022 will take place in Cadott, Wisconsin, on June 24, 2022. Country Thunder Wisconsin is scheduled to take place in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, on July 24, 2022.
