Who Was Beta In The Walking Dead? Reveals Ryan Hurst’s Identity

The Walking Dead series has had much to live up to as far as casting for some of the iconic comic book characters. Some of them have such unique clothes or looks that it was fun to see how they turned out on the big screen. These characters include Ezekiel, Princess, and Negan, just to name a few. Beta, Alpha’s right-hand man, was a great choice.

In the comics, Beta wears a skin Whisperer mask that only covers the top part of his face. When Ryan Hurst was cast as this character, fans were excited to see him play him. Fans knew he would do this character justice because he is a powerful man.

As the Whisperers’ second-in-command, Beta was a strong person. You didn’t want to get in his way because you never knew what he would do. He is a cruel, sociopathic person who lives by the Whisperer’s rules.

We also find out that Beta, like his comic book counterpart, is a famous person in the show. He’s the singer who goes by the name Half Moon. Alpha and Negan both knew who he was. Half Moon is the only character to show up in all three of The Walking Dead universe’s shows. In The Walking Dead, Negan is the main bad guy. He appears on one of Daniel’s album covers in Fear of the Walking Dead and on one of Dennis’s album covers in World Beyond.
