Kevin Darnell Hart was born on July 6, 1979 in Philadelphia to Nancy and Henry Hart. He looks up to his older brother Robert. His mother, a systems analyst in the University of Pennsylvania Office of Student Registration and Financial Services, was his sole parent throughout his upbringing.
