In a video posted on Facebook, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reported that at least Ukrainians were killed and 137 were wounded on the first day of the invasion to the country.
2022 In the speech, Zelensky vented and said that Ukrainians are “alone” in defending the former Soviet republic. “I asked all the state partners if they are with us. They are with us, but they are not ready for us to enter into an alliance with them”, he said.
“I am grateful to each state that helps us concretely, not just with words. But there is a second point: we are alone in defending our state. Who’s ready to fight us? Honestly, I don’t see anyone,” said Zelensky, who warned that groups of Russian “saboteurs” are already in Kiev.
