In Boone County, Missouri, during a party at a foreclosed home, two teenagers were shot to deαth, and four other juveniles were hurt, authorities on Sunday.
According to a Facebook post from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of shots fired just before 1 a.m. Sunday at the Columbia residence, approximately 35 miles north of Jefferson City.
Authorities claimed there may have been dozens present when a “verbal altercation” between two groups resulted in gunshots. The ages of the two victims were 16 and 17.
According to the sheriff’s office, the four injured teenagers are between the ages of 16 and 19 and don’t have any life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff’s office reported that authorities had detained no suspects. Police are urging anyone with information regarding the sh00ting to call the sheriff’s office or submit a tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
