Around 4 p.m., state troopers saw a black BMW that was said to have been broken into and stolen.

The BMW ran away when a state trooper tried to stop it, but it got stuck in traffic near 47th Street and Wentworth Avenue, near the Dan Ryan Expressway. In the video, officers could be seen with their guns drawn around the BMW. When the BMW took off, a trooper was sitting on the hood.

The BMW hit another car, and the trooper hit the ground hard. Another trooper was hurt when he jumped out of the way of the car. Both are likely to get better.

The suspects then sped onto the Dan Ryan, and troopers chased after them at full speed.

The driver finally hit a tree near 47th and Federal streets. The Chicago police came and took one young passenger into custody. As of late Tuesday, two suspects were still on the loose.
