The official trailer for Season 3 of “The Chosen,” a faith-based show about the life of Jesus Christ, has been released. After it was posted on YouTube on Monday, the nearly 3-minute trailer was the No. 1 trending video and has already been seen by more than 600,000 people.
About a month before the first two episodes of Season 3 come out in theatres on November 18, the new trailer comes out. “Come to me, you who are tired and burdened and I will give you rest,” the show’s creator and director, Dallas Jenkins, wrote in the video’s description.
“That’s the theme of Season 3 and man, that was true for us, too,” Jenkins wrote. “Season 3 has been a long time coming and trust me, it wasn’t by choice. From problems with our supply chain that slowed down construction to Covid delays to bad weather, making Season 3 definitely wore us out and made us feel heavy. We can’t get away from the ideas that each season brings.”

Jenkins thinks the wait will be worth it as fans watch the trailer. Before they are available for free streaming, the first two episodes will be shown in theatres for a limited time. Jenkins said that the rest of the episodes will be added to the apps every week in December.

Jenkins tells fans to watch Seasons 1 and 2 so they can know what’s going on when Season 3 starts.
“Season 3 picks up where Season 2 left off (you should watch Season 2 if you haven’t—I promise Season 3 will make more sense if you do), with Jesus giving the most famous sermon in history,” Jenkins wrote. “What comes next are the results of following what he taught. The world changes because of this sermon and the number of people who believe in Jesus and people who hate him grows at an exponential rate. This causes confusion, chaos and yes, doubt and we don’t try to hide any of that in this season. I promise you, you’ll hear some tough questions that you’ve probably already faced. But … He gives rest.”
Jenkins ends his message by thanking fans for being patient while Season 3 was being made.
“The good news is that while you’ve been waiting, literally tens of millions of people around the world have discovered ‘The Chosen,‘ and we think Season 3 will make this movement grow even more. Watch this whole trailer to learn everything you need to know about Season 3. More to come! ”
