Warning! Tales of the Jedi SPOILERS. Due to the unusually short length of Tales of the Jedi for a Star Wars show, Tales of the Jedi season 2 could cover a lot more than just Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano if it were to happen. Tales of the Jedi is a short, 6-episode animated series that came out in October 2022. It was made in the same style as The Clone Wars and the Bad Batch. Like most animated Star Wars shows, this one was mostly written by Dave Filoni, who was also a key part of its development. His first ideas for the series were to show how Ahsoka came to be and where Count Dooku was during Episode I.
There is a good chance that there will be a second season of Tales of the Jedi. The first six episodes barely scratched the surface of two Jedi, so it seems likely that there will be a second season. There’s no reason to stop after telling the stories of only two famous Jedi. There are hundreds and hundreds of other famous Jedi whose stories are just waiting to be told. With its slightly slower pace, Tales of the Jedi is able to flesh out its stories without rushing through its premise to get to the action. This is a great way to set up Tales of the Jedi season 2, and possibly many more seasons.
There’s A Good Chance Tales Of The Jedi Season 2 Can Happen
Many people thanked Dave Filoni for saving Anakin Skywalker’s character after the Clone Wars became a huge hit. Since then, he has been in charge of and helped make almost all animated Star Wars shows and movies, including Tales of the Jedi. Star Wars shows rarely only have one season. For example, a few months after The Bad Batch and Star Wars: Visions came out, they both got the news that they would be getting more seasons. Filoni has been as busy as ever making Star Wars content, from his animated projects to his live-action shows like The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka. These examples show that it is possible and likely that there will be a second season of Tales of the Jedi.
Tales Of The Jedi Season 2 Release Date
Other animated shows, such as The Bad Batch and Star Wars: Visions, go two years between seasons. Based on the time between these shows, Tales of the Jedi season 2 could come out at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. Even though Tales of the Jedi changed how people saw Revenge of the Sith and other Star Wars movies, it is only about half as long as most of the other animated Star Wars shows. Tales of the Jedi only has 6 episodes, and each one is only 10–17 minutes long. This means that the show could probably be made faster. Disney may want to release smaller, shorter series more often than their longer ones. This means that Tales of the Jedi season 2 could become a show that comes out almost every year.
Which Jedi should Season 2 of “Tales of the Jedi” be about next?
There are a lot of famous Jedi to learn about, so Tales of the Jedi could learn about anyone at any time. Most of the time, the series is about where each Jedi came from, like the fall of Count Dooku and Ahsoka’s life before she joined the Jedi Temple. Based on this, it might be interesting to learn more about Obi-life Wan’s before Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, such as his adventures with Duchess Satine and how he almost quit the Jedi Order to be with her.
Besides Obi-Wan, it might also be interesting to learn more about Plo Koon, who is one of Dave Filoni’s favourite Jedi. Master Plo Koon was an important part of finding Ahsoka and bringing her to the Jedi Temple. He also helped many clones get ideas in the first episodes of The Clone Wars. You can also learn about Jedi who don’t show up in the Skywalker Saga, like Darth Revan, whose story is famously complicated. Like Count Dooku, Revan is a fallen Jedi. No matter who Disney chooses next, season 2 of Tales of the Jedi has a lot of story ideas to explore.
