Spider-Man 4 is Marvel and Sony’s next big project after Spider-Man: No Way Home, but will Tom Holland make a comeback, and will it take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Anybody waiting for Tom Holland Spider-Man 4 updates has excellent news. Spider-Man: No Way Home, which finished its theatrical run as the third-highest-grossing Marvel Cinematic Universe film globally, was the biggest film in Phase 4. This sparked discussion about the future Spider-potential Man’s return to the MCU.
Thought to be Holland’s Spider-final Man film, No Way Home held some promise for more tales to come. No Way Home was a magnificent production jam-packed with fun and provided the jubilant fan service that only high-caliber comic book movies typically manage.
It’s a movie that’s simple to get fired up about. The vast scope of No Way Home was a testament to the necessity to try and surpass the MCU’s Infinity Saga in the post-Avengers: Endgame world when expectations for Marvel films increased exponentially.
Incredibly, it has found such popularity, but the focus is now on what Sony and Marvel can accomplish with this character going forward. Here is what we currently know about Spider-Man 4 and how No Way Home may set up Tom Holland’s Spider-Man role in the future.

Spider-Man 4 is Officially Confirmed
Sony’s Amy Pascal provided the Tom Holland Spider-Man 4 updates and discussed other Spider-Man content in an interview:
“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go on to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”
Moreover, Tom Rothman of Sony Pictures revealed the existence of at least one more MCU crossover before Feige did:
We lend one, then they lend one, and that’s how Benedict is in this movie, so we have one more lend back that is committed.
Spider-Man 4 (Predicted) Release Date
The end of 2024 might be a suitable release date for Spider-Man 4, assuming it follows the custom of releasing Spider-Man films to use the character’s brand strength. Even with Sony on board, this might not be easy to make off. A lot more Marvel movies are forthcoming.
Six films and maybe seven TV episodes are scheduled for Phase 5 over the following two years, which runs until September 2024. Thus, Spider-Man 4 cannot be included at that stage. According to The Cosmic Circus, Daredevil: Born Again is anticipated to be the final Disney+ series, while Spider-Man 4 will reportedly follow closely after that MCU series.
