Sony recommends that PC players of Returnal have at least 32GB of RAM, even though the minimum is only 16 GB.
Some of the requirements for Returnal’s PC port were posted on the game’s Steam page, where Wccftech found them. For example, the game needs at least 32GB of RAM, which is a lot. That’s more than hard games like Microsoft Flight Simulator, Elden Ring, and Cyberpunk 2077.

The minimum processor is an Intel Core i5-6400 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X, and the minimum graphics card is either an Nvidia GeForce GTZ 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX580. The game will take up 60GB of space on your hard drive.
The game also suggests that players have a processor that is either an Intel i7-8700 or an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and a video card that is either an Nvidia RTX 2070 Super or an AMD RX 6700 XT.
Climax Studios is making the PC version. They have previously worked with Returnal’s developer, Housemarque, on games like Resogun and Dead Nation. Tower of Sisyphus, the game’s endless mode, will not be playable between the PC and PlayStation 5 versions.
After a lot of leaks, The Game Awards 2022 was where Returnal for PC was officially announced. The game came out for PlayStation for the first time on April 30, 2021.
Returnal's PC port recommends having twice as much RAM to run the game as other big budget titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
