Shane McMahon Injury News After His Return From WrestleMania

Shane McMahon returned to WWE for the first time since he was sent home after the Royal Rumble in 2022 at WrestleMania 39; that was the end of the good news for the Los Angeles-based superstar.

The Miz has endured worse WrestleMania experiences than the two-night ordeal in Los Angeles. On Saturday night, the star claimed to have issued an open challenge for the event, but Pat McAfee’s return to WWE screens allowed him to accept the offer and defeat the former WWE Champion.

On Sunday evening, things did not improve significantly. The Miz, in his role as host of WrestleMania 39, returned to the ring with Snoop Dogg to announce the second night’s attendance, despite their argument over Snoop setting up the match between Miz and McAfee the night before.

Shane McMahon Injury

Shane McMahon responded to the latest challenge, which was issued due to a series of events.

Nevertheless, calamity struck within seconds when McMahon attempted a leapfrog and landed poorly. Medics attended to McMahon while instructions were relayed to The Miz and Snoop Dogg, with the Dogg’s Father stepping in to defeat The Miz with a People’s Elbow that had trouble breaking water.

At the post-show press conference, Triple H revealed that Shane McMahon had suffered a torn quad during the bout. During The Games’ in-ring career, he suffered that debilitating injury twice, missing months from the ring each time.
