As a candidate for a Ph.D., Sahsu goes to the city of Adana as a lecturer and to find out why her grandfather left her mother years ago.

On her journey, Sahsu starts to have visions and feels drawn to a mysterious group of people called Mar, who are the descendants of Shahmaran. Turkish folklore says that Shahmaran is a mythical being who is half woman and half snake and lives in an underground garden. She has been told about in many different ways in legends and stories from many different cultures.

Serenay Sarikaya plays Sahsu, a professor who starts having visions and is soon pulled into an old story. Sarikaya is a well-known actress and model from Turkey. She is best known for her roles in the Turkish teen drama Medcezir and the psychological thriller Fi.
