Schitt’s Creek is a beautiful television series that both reviewers and audiences adored during its run (and still is today). The show has won numerous honors, including several Primetime Emmys.
According to Vanity Fair, Schitt’s Creek created Emmy history in 2020 by winning all of the main Comedy categories. The show’s creators are father-son team Dan and Eugene Levy, who have proven to be comedic geniuses.
The series’ writing, casting, and general pacing were excellent, and Schitt’s Creek introduced several memorable supporting characters. Annie Murphy and Catherine O’Hara sat across from Dan and Eugene Levy.
The chemistry between the four prominent cast members was fantastic, and the series had you laughing from start to finish. Schitt’s Creek is presently available on Netflix.
Schitt’s Creek depicts an affluent family who loses everything and is forced to relocate to their final possession, a little town called Schitt’s Creek.
Dan Levy proposed the idea for Schitt’s Creek, and his father, Eugene Levy, readily agreed. Nothing beats watching a dysfunctional family on television.
At the same time, the Rose family had some sweet and real moments. With a comic touch, the sitcom has much to say about class structure and money.
The characters are complicated and occasionally annoying. Having said that, you eventually fall in love with the Rose family.
Eugene Levy
Eugene Levy co-created and starred in Schitt’s Creek. Levy hasn’t done much since the series ended, save from several short films. Having said that, Levy is undeniably one of Hollywood’s best comedic actors, having been in the American Pie franchise, Finding Dory, and Cheaper by the Dozen 2.

Catherine O’Hara
Following Schitt’s Creek, Catherine O’Hara lent her voice to the animated series The Last Kids on Earth. She has also appeared as a guest on Central Park and The Kids in the Hall. Following that, O’Hara has been cast in Matthew Vaughn’s next film Argylle. She will co-star with Henry Cavill and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Dan Levy
Dan Levy has acted steadily since Schitt’s Creek. He co-starred with Kristen Stewart in the Hulu film Happiest Season and provided the voice-over for the Netflix animated series Q-Force. Levy is also still working behind the camera.
He is the executive producer of The Big Brunch, an upcoming game show. Of course, audiences and critics will be keen to see if and when Levy launches a new series. Most recently, NPR reported that Levy would join the cast of S*x Education for the fourth season.
