Ryan John Seacrest was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 24, 1974, to Constance Marie Seacrest and real estate lawyer Gary Lee Seacrest. His father served as a lieutenant in the United States Army, and his grandfather was a major general.
When he was 16, he landed an internship at Atlanta’s 94.1 WSTR. He graduated from Dunwoody High School in 1992 and studied journalism at the University of Georgia.
