According to the Philadelphia Police Department, a gunshot that happened Thursday night in a schoolyard in Philadelphia resulted in seven injuries, six of them being children.
At around 5:52 p.m. on Thursday, police discovered numerous shooting victims at a schoolyard of the James G. Blaine School in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood. Six individuals were then taken to local hospitals by authorities, including five children and a 31-year-old woman who was shot twice but is currently in stable condition.

In the playground, shots were fired at a 2-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy, a 15-year-old male, and two 16-year-old boys. All are getting treatment at nearby hospitals and are in stable condition, according to the police.
