Outlander Season 7 Release Date And Where To Watch It?

Starz said that Outlander Season 7 would be shot in Scotland. Outlander fans hope they won’t have to wait too long to see more of Claire and Jamie’s adventures. It’s been almost seven months since the end of season 6, and fans are eager to see what comes next.

Following former Second World War military nurse Claire Randall as she goes back in time from 1945 to 1743, where she meets Highland warrior Jamie Fraser, falls in love with him, and marries him, has made Sam Heughan and Caitrona Balfe huge stars.

Based on the best-selling books by American author Diana Gabaldon, the show has already aired 75 episodes. But because of the global pandemic, the last season could only have eight episodes.

The last time we saw them, they were very upset because Jamie and Claire’s hold on Fraser’s Ridge was getting weaker and weaker.

Now, millions of Outlander fans are on the edge of their seats as they wait for the soon-to-be-released date of season seven, which will end the “Droughtlander.”

Outlander Season 7 Release Date: When Will It Come Out

STARZ announced that five new cast members would join the popular time-traveling show “Outlander” for its upcoming seventh season, which is currently filmed in Scotland. Several fan-favorite cast members will also be back.

The seventh season of Outlander might have twice as many episodes as the sixth.

The deadline says that Outlander season 7 will come out at the beginning of 2023. But Balfe said that filming Season 7 could take up to 13 months, pushing the start date to at least May 2023.

Outlander Season 7 Plot: What To Expect From New Part?

Fans of Outlander will also be hoping that Graham McTavish will show up again. The actor plays Jamie’s uncle Dougal Mackenzie in the first two seasons of Outlander. He stars in the TV show Men in Kilts with his friend Sam Heughan.

He returned in season five to play Buck, a relative of Dougal’s. He told Digital Spy that he would be open to returning to the show any time.

“Buck… I’m not sure, “He joked. “Well, I know he’s in the books—I think he’s in books 7 and 8—but I’m not sure… Well, if there’s one thing I know about this business, the actors are always the last ones to know!” Claire is in jail in Wilmington and could be tried for killing Malva Christie, Tom Christie’s daughter. She could be sentenced to death by hanging if she is found guilty.

On the other hand, Jamie was just saved from Richard Brown’s Committee of Safety, and he is now on his way to save her with Young Ian and John Quincy Myers, likely planning another prison break. (In season one, he saved her from Fort William, and in season two, she saves him from Wentworth and the Bastille, so they both know how to handle these situations.) In the seventh season, we also need to find out who killed Malva and what Wendigo Donner’s return to the present means for the Fraser family.

The Fraser family will face a lot more danger in the future. Claire’s arrival in Wilmington at the end of season six’s finale hinted the growing unrest in the country. Season seven will show how close the Revolutionary War (the American War of Independence) is getting to Fraser’s Ridge.

An Echo in the Bone, the seventh book by Diana Gabaldon, is set between 1776 and 1778. The Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776, and the war lasted until 1783.

There will also be a new family member. In season six, Brianna said she was expecting her second child, which could force her and Roger to decide where and when they want to raise their growing family.
