New York City Hosts The Fun*ral For Jordan Neely

On Friday, May 19, the fun*ral for Jordan Neely was held in New York City.

On May 1, the 30-year-old died when Daniel Penny, a former US Marine sergeant, choked him on an F train in Manhattan.

Mr. Penny, 24, was charged with manslaughter in a Manhattan criminal court just hours after turning himself in.

A medical examiner determined that Neely, who was homeless, died due to a neck compression.

Mr. Penny’s attorneys stated that their client had no intention of ki!!ing Neely.

Neely was raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. According to attorney Donte Mills, Neely became an experienced street performer to deal with stress after his mother was murd*red in 2007.

Rev. Al Sharpton delivered the eulogy during Mr. Neely’s fun*ral, expected to draw hundreds of people to Harlem’s Mount Neboh Baptist Church.

Mr. Neely’s fun*ral will be officiated by the same preacher who officiated at his mother’s fun*ral.
