A man was found dead in a luxury condo building in Midtown with a headshot wound that seemed to be self-inflicted. His wife told police that he was stressed about a “work incident.”

At 11:07 a.m. on Sunday, Steven Lord, 58, was found “unconscious and unresponsive” at 310 E. 53rd St., police said. At the scene, he was said to be dead.

“The wife was on scene and told us he had expressed stress over some sort of a work incident,” a police source said.

Investigators don’t think anyone did anything wrong, police said. The Office of the City Medical Examiner will find the cause of death.

The 29-story glass tower is in Manhattan‘s small Turtle Bay neighborhood. The website has 88 units with hardwood floors, high ceilings, and big windows.

Police sources at the time said that a French financier jumped to his death from a luxury high-rise while touring a unit in the same neighborhood with a real estate agent.

Charles-Henry Kurzen, 43, fell from a balcony on the 32nd floor of 100 United Nations Plaza and landed on a patio on the third floor, according to police.
