(KGNS) — LAREDO, Tex. A 20-year-old woman has died after being shot in the face, allegedly by her husband.
Francisco Javier Garcia is thought to be the one who shot Krystal Claudina Limon in the face last week. On Friday, January 6, police were called to their home on Camp Avenue.
The Laredo Police Department says that Limon died at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 9. In light of the new information in the case, the police will now talk to the Webb County District Attorney’s Office.

Garcia is still being held in the Webb County Jail, where his bond is set at $170,000.
Garcia, who is 27 years old, has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and two counts of Putting Children in Danger.
