Fans were surprised when metal band Korn came out with a new eyeshadow palette. In honor of the 25th anniversary of the release of their famous album Follow the Leader, they worked with HipDot to make a makeup item. Since then, Netizens have taken to social media to show interest in strange goods.

The band’s third album, Follow the Leader, came out on August 18, 1998. In less than four years, they sold more than five million copies. We never wanted to sound like every other band. Even though we liked all those bands that were part of the sound that we helped create, we’ve always wanted to be a step ahead of everyone else who was doing this kind of music.

The band made an eyeshadow palette with eight colors to honor the legendary album. The name of each color comes from another song on the LP. Korn told the 2.8 million people who follow them on Instagram:

“We worked with @HipDot to make an exclusive #FollowTheLeader CD makeup palette before the 25th anniversary this summer. This palette has 8 great “tracks” with different pigmented textures… Our collection is vegan, contains no harmful ingredients, is certified cruelty-free, and was put together with all skin tones in mind.
