Career
Griffo first appeared as an extra in 2011 on the television shows Kickin’ It and Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures, both of which were produced by the same company. Following this, he made a number of guest appearances on television shows such as See Dad Run and Jessie, among others.
In the Nickelodeon series The Thundermans, Griffo played Max Thunderman, the twin brother who aspired to be the ultimate supervillain. From 2013 to 2018, Griffo was a regular cast member (his twin sister Phoebe is played by Kira Kosarin). Griffo co-starred with Ciara Bravo in the Nickelodeon original film Jinxed, which was released in the same year.
Griffo appeared in the Nickelodeon original movie Splitting Adam, which aired in February 2015 and co-starred Isabela Moner, Tony Cavalero, and Jace Norman. Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, a Syfy original film that premiered on July 22, 2015, featured him in the role of Billy, the boyfriend of Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and Claudia Shepard (Ryan Newmandaughter )’s Claudia Shepard (Ryan Newman).
A guest appearance by Griffo in the season 7 finale of NCIS: Los Angeles as a military cadet named McKenna was broadcast on CBS in 2016. The role of Sebastian in the inspirational family drama film Apple of My Eye was played by Griffo the following year (originally titled And Then There Was Light). His role as Noah in the independent drama film Those Left Behind was cast the following year.
Griffo joined the cast of the Netflix original series Alexa & Katie in August 2017, and he currently appears in the series as Dylan, a recurring role. He appeared as a guest star on several television shows, including School of Rock, Knight Squad, and SEAL Team. Griffo will appear as Sean Davis in the action film The 2nd, which will be released in 2020 and stars Ryan Phillippe. In the Lifetime original movie The Christmas High Note, which premiered in 2021, he played a supporting role.
