The Southaven Police Department said that Indiana State Police (ISP) caught a man from Mississippi who was wanted for killing two people.
Jeffrey Walker was arrested in Cambridge City, IN, for having marijuana on him.
According to the report, Officials say that while he was arrested, Indiana State Police saw that he had an active warrant for the murder of two people in Southaven.
Walker was later indicted to DeSoto County in Mississippi, according to officials. Walker was first arrested by US marshals in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2020.

He had killed a man and a woman and hurt another man at a Halloween party in Southaven, Mississippi, in the 200 block of Vault Circle.

Officials say that a fight that turned violent led to the incident. Two of the victims in the shooting were pronounced dead at the scene.
The other man who was shot was taken to Regional One Medical Center.
