Victor Blackwell is out as gay and works as a news reader for CNN. On December 21, 2013, he told his co-star Pamela Earthy and guest Jimmy Alexander that he was gay during a live debate.

They discussed a meeting with Phil Robertson that had previously been published in GQ magazine.

During the conversation, Phile said something stupid about being gay.

On the other hand, Victor said he wasn’t surprised or hurt by the comments because he didn’t think Phil would agree with him. He then said he was a dark-skinned gay man.
