In a recent Vogue profile, nonbinary actor Emma Corrin asks, “Did you see their music video together?” “I think they’re both going through a sexual awakening at that age.” They aren’t talking about Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Megan Fox and MGK, or Meryl Streep and Don Gummer. It’s between Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, who is 40 years old, and Australian singer G Flip, who is 28 years old.
Real estate agent and reality TV star Strause’s new relationship with the very horny Chrishell is like catnip for many in the gay community because it gives them a chance to see an adult woman come to terms with her sexuality in real-time. In the first season of Selling Sunset, a big part of Chrishell’s story was her breakup with actor Justin Hartley. By the fifth season, the show was about her relationship with her boss Jason Oppenheim, which ended because she wanted children and he didn’t. Chrishell is now dating a nonbinary singer who is younger than she is.
This is different from Chrishell’s usual type of “guy who might want to have kids with me.” Chrishell goes to messy queer indie concerts, does PDA, and doesn’t seem to care that her biological clock is ticking. So, for those who want to follow their new relationship but haven’t been keeping up with them every step of the way, we thought it would be helpful to make a timeline of Chrishell, G-Flip, and their viewers. From Chrishell breaking up with her boss Jason to horny music videos to needing to engage in rumors, step into our timeline, and live vicariously through adults having a glorious “teenage sexual awakening.”
Timeline of Chrishell Stause And G Flip’s Relationship
October 31, 2021
Chrishell and G Flip, who are both in relationships, go to Tones and I’s Halloween party on October 31, 2021. G Flip says that the “Dance Monkey” singer introduces them to each other. Chrishell posts videos of herself on her way to the party, and G Flip helps Tones run the party. (Later, she says that Tones will also be on the next season of Selling Sunset.)
December 21, 2021
The two of them break up on December 21, 2021. Even though the Selling Sunset season about their relationship won’t air for a few more months, Jason and Chrishell’s Instagram posts make it clear that they broke up because Chrishell wants kids and Jason doesn’t. “Jason was and is my best friend, and even though we have different ideas about what a family should be, that won’t change the amount of respect and love we have for each other,” she writes in a post that has since been taken down. “It’s just the way things are that men have more time than women do.”
March 3, 2022
Chrishell goes to a Fletcher concert on March 3, 2022, where G Flip is the opening act. This is when people on social media start to talk about Chrishell being gay. Chrishell’s presence at the concert comes as a surprise to Fletcher, who is very into WLW. A TikTok from that night showing “g@y sh!!!!t you’ll see at the Fletcher concert” ends with “wait… chrishell stause????” People are mostly surprised and a little confused by her. But so far, no one seems to connect Chrishell with G Flip.
March 18, 2022
Chrishell posts a picture of herself with G Flip as the sixth swipe on an Instagram carousel with the caption “Round up from most pictures that went in stories” on March 18, 2022. The post is a simple selfie of Chrishell looking glamorous and G-Flip looking happy to be there. It might be the softest start-up we’ve ever seen, but the post is still enough to make people think they’re dating.
March 27, 2022
WLW TikTokers are now aware of the connection. They talk about a moment in the Instagram comments where someone says, “Fell in love with an emo girl,” and Chrishell says, “Damn, that should have been the caption.”
April 3, 2022
G Flip posts a video of themselves singing their song “Gay 4 Me” live on April 3, 2022. The song is about something that happens to a lot of guys: a girl likes them, but she says she’s only gay for them. Chrishell keeps stoking rumors by saying things like, “Best show. Best song. Best collab.”
April 30, 2022
There are a lot of rumors going around. Social media sleuths find out that both Chrishell and G Flip are going to Colorado and later confirm that they are both at the same Colorado lodge.
May 1, 2022
G Flip is making more flirty comments on social media on May 1, 2022. Most obviously, G Flip says “agreed” to a tweet that says, “Chrishell, you’re too pretty to be with a man.” People who have been watching this couple for a while know that they are just playing around by not confirming the relationship at this point.

May 6, 2022
The Selling Sunset reunion airs for the first time on May 6, 2022, and Chrishell confirms that the two are dating. “I’ve been spending a lot of time with someone important to me lately. They are called G Flip. Chrishell says, “They don’t have a gender, so they go by they/them, and they are a very talented musician.” “I was just going to be in their video,” she says, “and then we started dating.” On the reunion, it’s not clear how close they are, but a source told People that G Flip has moved into Chrishell’s old place.
May 8, 2022
Chrishell and G Flip are now regularly posting about each other on social media. This started on May 8, 2022. One Reddit user says that G Flip is dressed like the guy who says “No Regrets.”
May 12, 2022
The music video for G Flip’s song “Get Me Outta Here” comes out on May 12, 2022. In the video, they can be seen kissing Chrishell. It is G Flip’s most popular YouTube video, with about 830,000 views, and many of the comments are about Chrishell. If Chrishell’s story at the reunion that they started dating because of this music video is true, we have to wonder how the whole music video pitching process went if they weren’t dating yet, since they kiss a lot.
Chrishell posts a video on Instagram the same day in which she talks more about her relationship with G Flip than she could at the reunion. Among other things, she said, “With G, I wish we were at the same point in our lives. That doesn’t change how much we care about each other. And how they’ve helped me see what it might look like. I don’t know what it would look like, but I’ll chalk it up to the fact that I have so many more options.” What that means is still not clear, but it is clear that Chrishell is still having some of the same problems with G Flip that she had with Jason.
May 16, 2022
G Flip talks about Chrishell on the People Everyday podcast. G Flip says that Chrishell is “the kindest, most loving, and most beautiful person I’ve ever met.” So real and pure, just like this little Cancer girl who is so cute and beautiful and only wants to make a room brighter, which she does. I’m very lucky to have her as a friend.” It tastes very good.
May 24, 2022
Some of the cast of Selling Sunset talk to People on May 24, 2022, and call Chrishell brave for talking about her relationship. Amanda Smith, Chrishell’s friend, says, “If anyone has anything bad or confusing to say about it, they can just keep it.” Mary Fitzgerald, a cast member, talks about Jason in the article. She says, “Jason is so supportive and he just wants her to be happy, so I think he handled it really well.”
June 5, 2022
Backstage at the MTV Movie and TV Awards Pre-Tape on June 5, 2022, Chrishell and G Flip kiss “like crazy.” What a horny act!
June 30, 2022
Chrishell’s interview with Vogue comes out on June 30, 2022. Chrishell says in the interview that she does want kids, but that G Flip isn’t ready for that right now. She says, “Things are a little different for us because it’s not a typical relationship, and we do want some different things. G knows that I want to be a mom, and I know that’s not where they are in their lives right now. It’s really just a very open, communicative situation in which neither of us wants to block anything for the other and we want to show each other love and support in any way possible.” What that means for the future of the relationship isn’t clear, especially since Chrishell also says, “Without a doubt, we’ll always be in each other’s lives, so that feels good,” which is the kind of ominous thing people always say at the end of a relationship.
On July 6, 2022, G Flip posts a video on Instagram of them singing a song called “waste of space” about being nonbinary. Chrishell says, “That voice could change the world. It’s so beautiful.”
